Shakespeare’s Globe

The theatre is a dedicated resource of Shakespeare’s works, visit the theatre and you will be taken on a journey into the exploration of Shakespeare’s plays and performances. The theatre also offers a chance for schools to visit on educational trips to gain a better understanding and knowledge of what the meaning of Shakespeare’s writings were firsthand. The globe provides a very authentic feel to what the real theatre would have been like and you enter into a world of long ago as you take your seat in the gallery of the open air amphitheatre style reconstruction. Or stand among the other guests as a groundling as they would have 400 years ago.
